Credit Card Disclosure

This Disclosure is incorporated into and becomes part of Your LOANLINER® Consumer Credit Card Agreement & Disclosure. Please keep this attached to Your LOANLINER Consumer Credit Card Agreement & Disclosure.

How We Will Calculate Your Balance:

We use a method called "average daily balance (including new purchases)." See Your Account Agreement for more details.

Promotional Period for Introductory APR:

The Introductory APR for purchases, balance transfers and cash advances will apply for a period of six (6) billing cycles from the day of your first transaction provided the first transaction posts to your account within six (6) months following the opening of your account. When the Introductory period ends, the APR on existing balances will increase to the non-introductory APR. Only members who have not been a primary Visa credit card holder with us in the last 24 months are eligible for the Introductory APR. Existing loan and credit card balances with Bridgeport Police Federal Credit Union are not eligible for the introductory APR.

Billing Rights:

Information on Your rights to dispute transactions and how to exercise those rights is provided in Your Account Agreement.

Other Fees & Disclosures:

Late Payment Fee:

$20.00 or the amount of the required minimum payment, whichever is less, if You are 5 or more days late in making a payment. The fee will be charged to Your Account when You do not make the required minimum payment by or within the number of days of the statement Payment Due Date set forth on this Disclosure.

Balance Transfer Fee (Finance Charge):

$5.00 or 0.50% of the amount of each balance transfer, whichever is greater. The fee will be charged to Your Account when You transfer a balance from an account of another creditor to the Account subject to Your Agreement.

Cash Advance Fee (Finance Charge):

$5.00 or 0.50% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater. The fee will be charged to Your Account when You obtain a cash advance from an ATM, the Credit Union or other financial institution.

Returned Payment Fee:

$25.00 or the amount of the required minimum payment, whichever is less. The fee will be charged to Your Account when a payment is returned for any reason.

Returned Convenience Check Fee:

$25.00 or the amount of the returned convenience check, whichever is less. The fee will be charged to Your Account when a convenience check is returned for any reason.

Card Replacement Fee:

$5.00. The fee will be charged for each replacement Card that is issued to You for any reason.

Document Copy Fee:

$20.00. The fee may be charged to Your Account for each copy of a sales draft that You request (except when the request is made in connection with a billing error made by the Credit Union).

PIN Replacement Fee:

$5.00. The fee will be charged to Your Account whenever You request a new PIN number for Your Account.

Rush Fee:

$25.00. The fee may be charged to Your Account for each rush Card that You request, providing that delivery of the Card is also available by standard mail service, without paying a fee for delivery.

Statement Copy Fee:

$8.00. Except as limited by applicable law and when the request is made in connection with a billing error made by the Credit Union, a fee may be charged to Your Account for each copy of a statement that You request.

Periodic Rates:

The Introductory Purchase APR is which is a monthly periodic rate of 0.0000%
The Purchase APR is which is a monthly periodic rate of 0.8325%
The Introductory Balance Transfer APR is which is a monthly periodic rate of 0.0000%
The Balance Transfer APR is which is a monthly periodic rate of 0.8325%
The Introductory Cash Advance APR is 0.00% which is a monthly periodic rate of 0.0000%
The Cash Advance APR is which is a monthly periodic rate of 0.8325%


There are costs associated with the use of a credit card. Information about costs, rates and fees may be contained in disclosures provided with this application or by calling us toll-free or collect at or writing to us at the address stated on this application.

Check below to indicate the type of credit for which you are applying. Married Applicants may apply for a separate account.

Individual Credit: You must complete the Applicant section about yourself and the Other section about your spouse if

  1. you live in or the property pledged as collateral is located in a community property state (AK, AZ, CA, ID, LA, NM, NV, TX, WA, WI)

  2. your spouse will use the account, or

  3. you are relying on your spouse's income as a basis for repayment. If you are relying on income from alimony, child support, or separate maintenance, complete the Other section to the extent possible about the person on whose payments you are relying.

Joint Credit: Each Applicant must individually complete appropriate section below. If Co-Borrower is spouse of the Applicant, mark the Co-Applicant box.
